GLITCHY WEASEL WORKS TERMS OF SERVICE
By commissioning us or buying our products at Glitchy Weasel Works, you agree to the terms of service below which are set in place to protect both us, as well as you (our clients)! This TOS is publicly available to view on our site below, but must also be agreed to upon submitting a quote forum to us to ensure that all person's involved are aware of this TOS.

By purchasing a commission slot or a premade from Glitchy Weasel Works, you agree to these terms and conditions:

COMMUNICATION
Glitchy Weasel Works is best contacted through Telegram @The3amHellbeast regarding any commission inquires, questions, updates, or concerns. We are also available to be contacted through email at GlitchyWeaselWorks@gmail.com or through any of our main Social Media accounts (@GlitchyWeaselWorks on Instagram or @GlitchyWeasel on Twitter/X).
We will respond within 1 week to all business related messages and emails.

We have a public Trello that is updated frequently as work is completed on suits and projects.

MINIMUM AGE​

You must be over 18 to commission any Fursuits, Fursuit Parts, Accessories, or Props from Glitchy Weasel Works.

Parents, Guardians, or anyone over the age of 18 may not commission or purchase
a Fursuit, premade, or any products marked as 18+ of any kind from Glitchy Weasel Works on behalf of a minor.

GLITCHY WEASEL WORKS' TOLERANCE AND ABUSE POLICY
-
Glitchy Weasel Works has the right to refuse, stop, or refund any commission work at any time for any reason within compliance with the law.

While we do our best to screen our clients prior to accepting a commission request or partial sale, we are not responsible for any of our clients actions. Once a product has been bought or shipped, that product then belongs to the client and is theirs to do what they would like with it.

Glitchy Weasel Works has 0 tolerance for rude or inappropriate behaviors' or staff abuse towards us from our clients. Your slot may be canceled or refunded if the client's behavior is deemed to be serious enough to warrant a cancellation if said client has a project in our queue.

We have the right to refuse commissions or deny service for any of the following reasons:

You are under the age of 18

The Character Design is too Complex or contains fur or fabric colours that do not exist (and the client is not willing to compromise on suggested design changes, simplifications, modifications, ect to be able to make the suit possible to create).

The character is too controversial or may contain themes, symbols, or imagery that GWW wishes to not associate with.
-
You have a history of being rude or problematic with other fursuit makers and artists.
-
You have a history of illegal actions, practices, or interests.

PAYMENT POLICY
-
Payment through Paypal, Square, or E-transfer only. Cash may be accepted, but only in person or for convention commission openings. We do not accept Cash, Cheques, Cashapp, Venmo, or any other form of payment.

All payments through Paypal must be made through Goods and Services or by Invoice

To reserve an official slot in the queue, the client will have to pay for the full cost of materials which will be discussed in the quote received by Glitchy Weasel Works. Full payment for the rest of the commission will be required once work has been started on their slot (Base carving/lining stages). The client will then have up to 1 week to pay the owing amount.

Failure to pay within the 1 week once work has been started on their suit will result in another commission or a premade being started until payment has been received.

If one month passes without full payment or reason stated by the client, they risk their slot being bumped down the queue.

After 3 months, the slot will be forfeited with no refund for time spent on research, ordering, and work having been previously made on the suit. There will be no refund for the cost of materials. Materials will be used either for other commissions or for a premade to make up for losses to Glitchy Weasel Works as failure to respond to contact.

Payment plans can be discussed and arranged if requested.

A client may pay for their slot upfront and in full.
-
Clients who pay upfront may be bumped ahead of others in the queue who are on a payment plan or have yet to complete payment for their commission slot to keep the queue going.

Clients on a payment plan have a maximum of 1 year to fully pay their suit off unless if discussed and agreed upon prior.

The client consents to us listing their payment status in our public trello.
REFUND POLICY
-
Refunds may be requested in the case of severe emergencies (ie. Hospitalization, Severe Injury, Fire, ect.), however slots may not be refunded for financial incompetence, deciding to commission another artist, or regret for purchasing a commission slot with us. Please be 100% sure that you are able to and willing to commission us at Glitchy Weasel Works before applying for one of our commission slots.​​

A refund may be requested before materials have been ordered and work on the commission has been started. Once materials has been ordered, the cost of materials are non-refundable and the client will only be partially refunded if they pay upfront or in full.

Shipping materials to the client in the case of a cancellation will be handled on a case by case basis but likely will result in the client paying for the shipping costs to send the materials to them.

Glitchy Weasel Works can cancel and issue a full refund to the client at any time for any reason even if materials have been ordered. In extreme cases where Glitchy Weasel Works decides to cancel and refund a commission, the client will not be responsible for paying for material costs as this decision to cancel the commission had been made by Glitchy Weasel Works.

Refunds can take anywhere from 1 Business Day to up to 3 months to be processed. We are not responsible for refunds taking longer due to Paypal, Square, or issues arising with any banks that may be involved. If you are having issues with receiving a refund, please let us know and we will do our best to resolve the situation on our end to the best of our abilities.

All small parts, props, and accessories are final sale unless if there is a fault in the product. In those cases please refer to our repairs policy below.

QUOTES, CHARACTER DESIGNS, & COMISSION PROCESSES
Quotes
-
Detailed quotes for partials are $10-$15 USD per character depending on complexity and commission type. Quotes for small simple parts (Basic tails and paws) are free, complex parts (more complicated designs or paws/tails with more then 3 colours) quotes will be $5 USD.

Payment for quotes must be received before GWW will start working on your quote.

Quotes can take anywhere from 3 business days to 1 month. This length of time can vary due to availability of materials and to account for potential cost fluctuations.

Quotes are non-refundable, but the cost of a quote will be deducted from the commission price should you choose to commission GWW in the future. In the case of an automatic denial on our end (See Glitchy Weasel Works' Tolerance and Abuse Policy Section), the client will be refunded in full for their quote. A reason may or may not be provided for why the project was denied by our team.

Quotes expire after 1 year and will need to be redone after 1 year has passed from the date listed in a client’s quote. If your original quote expires, you will have to pay for a new quote and the previous payment for the original expired quote will also expire and not be eligible to be used as a credit towards a future commission.

All clients will be asked to fill out a quote forum before applying for a commission slot. A client may apply for a quote and a commission slot at the same time in the case of both being open at the same time and not wanting to miss out on a potential commission opening.

A clear and up to date reference sheet must be provided for quotes and commissions. Please provide an unshaded reference sheet so the markings are clear and there will be no confusion on marking placement or fur colours.

If one is not provided or if the reference provided is incorrect, Glitchy Weasel Works is not responsible for errors such as incorrect markings, patterns, and fur colours, especially after the suit has been finalized and approved by the client before being shipped.

Glitchy Weasel Works can make a fursuit reference (base made) or can offer one of our artist partners to create a fursuit viable reference sheet for an extra cost that will be approved by the client before any materials are officially ordered.

Waitlist
-
Glitchy Weasel Works offers a waitlist option for clients and projects that we would like to make in the future, but might not be able to add to our queue for various reasons. Due to how GWW is dedicated to keeping our queues short and openings frequent while also working on our fursuits in batches rather then one at a time; this means that we often take on less slots per opening despite how we might have wanted to accept many more projects in our queue for said opening.

​How does the Waitlist work?
-
For those who fall into this category when applying for a quote when our commissions are not open, or for those who ​applied for a commission slot but we had to decline for that specific opening, we offer a waitlist option.
-
The waitlist is free, the client will not be charged to be added to the waitlist.
-
Clients added to the waitlist will not be charged for updates to their quotes if their quote expires. If their quote expires due to being in the waitlist for over a year, the client can decide to renew their quote, or receive a refund and drop out of the waitlist if they choose to cancel.

A few reasons why someone might be offered to be added to the waitlist would be:

There are not enough slot openings available/commissions are not open.​

The design is too complicated for our skills at the time of applying, but it can be done in the near future after a few more suits.
-
The design is interesting, but it might need an updated reference sheet or there are too many changes or missing details that our team cannot provide for the client at that time.
-
The client was quoted a cost that is currently out of their budget for said slot opening or cannot apply for the current slot opening for any reason, but wishes to be offered opportunities in the future for slot openings when they become available.
-
Issues with obtaining specific materials for that suit in specific for that time (such as head base or fur availability).
-
GWW might be interested in taking a different commission type then what the client is looking for. For example, GWW might want to mostly try new species for that specific commission opening, but would have accepted a slot for your character otherwise.

Those who wish to be added to our waitlist will go through the entire quote process with our team, including having a card made in our trello with all of their details, quoted costs, references, ect as if they had an actual commission slot with us. If they are accepted for a slot or opening in the future, the client can then be automatically added to the queue.

When a slot opens up or 1 week before our commissions open, our team will reach out to those who are applicable in our waitlist to see if the client would like to claim one of our available slots before our slots open up to the public.

An additional perk for those in our waitlist is that there will be waitlist only commission openings. These will be openings that will be restricted to only those who are on our waitlist at the time of opening commission slots.

A client may ask to be taken off or removed from the waitlist at anytime for any reason.

Designs & Character Changes
-
Draw Overs will also be made to approve the design before work is started on any suit.
-
Design and Character Changes can be made up until materials have been ordered. Exceptions may be made if there are no changes to the needed materials or if additional materials do not need to be ordered.

Glitchy Weasel Works may refuse a character or design change for any reason.
-
In situations such as these, we may ask for an additional charge if the new design is more complex or needs more materials, ask for a different character, offer an artistic liberty suit to be made using the in house materials that are available, or offer to refund the client.

GWW will only take on projects that we are confident in ourselves to be able to bring to life, if we feel like we cannot take on a suggested character change then we may have no choice but to refund you for your slot.
Commission Processes

Glitchy Weasel Works is responsible for sending WIPS throughout the process and making sure that the product follows any customer instructions to the best of their abilities.

Please note that there may be some additional changes that GWW may charge more for for certain client requests (last minute design changes or alterations, last minute add-ons or accessories, heavy alterations after original wips have been approved by the client, deadlines, ect).

Please note that any additional charges will be discussed and agreed upon with the client prior to any additional payments being processed.

SHIPPING & DAMAGE POLICY
-
Glitchy Weasel Works is not responsible for any damages or lost and stolen items after it has been shipped. GWW will always make sure that products will be shipped out as safely as possible, and will help attempt to recover any lost or stolen items should this occur by contacting whichever shipping company had lost the items and launching an investigation.

If the client had opted out of paying for package insurance, Glitchy Weasel Works is not responsible. If insurance covers the cost of the missing package then Glitchy Weasel Works may be able to remake the suit or product or offer a refund in the unfortunate incident of this occurring.

Shipping is not included in the quoted price of an item and the original invoice. Customers will be charged the amount that it costs to ship the item and for packing materials.

Please prepare for additional shipping costs such as custom fees or package insurance. Insurance will be added for all shipped items with the full claimed amount unless if specifically asked by the client to not include it.

Customs must be covered by the client.

Convention pick-up is available for any convention Glitchy Weasel Works attends. We are not responsible for anything that happens after the suit has been picked up, nor are we responsible for customs or duties needing to be paid if flying or crossing borders.
OUR FURSUIT REPAIR AND MAINTENENCE WARRENTY -
Glitchy Weasel Works will offer lifetime fixes, refurbishments, and add-ons for their client’s suits for the cost of shipping and at a slight cost depending on the repair or additions.

Small fursuit parts, props, and accessories are eligible for repairs on a case by case basis. If an item is defective on behalf of us at GWW then we may offer to replace the item or offer a partial refund if we are unable to fix the item.

Our suits are hand made and therefore will have imperfections. While we can do our best to fix or repair any issues that may arise, perfection is not a guarantee with our suits and should not be expected. We are more then happy to try to fix issues that come up in the future as we get better at our skills and learn new techniques.

The client will be responsible for washing the suit to the best of their abilities, and paying for shipping or delivering the item in need of repair to Glitchy Weasel Works.

GWW may refuse to fix, repair, or work on a suit that is not clean or may be dangerous for us to work on.
-
Repairs such as popped or torn seams, loose or missing magnets, accessories lost due to magnets or velcro failing, broken zippers, fur quality issues, or any defects that are at no fault of the customer up to 3 months after receiving the suit will be fully covered by GWW. GWW will not cover repairs for minor asymmetry in fur markings or the underlying base and minor glue imperfections.

Glitchy Weasel Works are not responsible for fixing or repairing any personal modifications or modifications made by others to your suit if changes are made within the first 3 month suit warranty.

Additional costs may be necessary for any repairs for suits which were not modified by our team.

Due to Fursuits being physically worn items, Fursuits eventually will wear down to a point in where they will be unable to be fixed or refurbished. While GWW will do our best to try to fix and repair our suits and keep them up to date, there may come a time where we will be unable to continue repairing or maintaining the suit. If a suit is not sent in for maintenance often (every 1-3 years), items might wear down quicker and fall into disrepair faster.

In the case of a suit being resold to a new owner, the previous owner relinquishes their rights to our repair and maintenance policy to the new owner so long as the new owner agrees to this TOS.

Glitchy Weasel Works currently is using Printed eye mesh in our suits over Sublimation Printed eyemesh. Any commissioners who have Printed eye mesh in their suits are eligible for a free upgrade to sublimation printed eyes once we are able to do sublimation printing (shipping not included)
PRIVACY POLICY
We retain the right to use the personal information you provide us to ensure you are not violating our terms of Service. This may include reviewing your social media pages.
Appropriate action will be taken if your actions are not in accordance with the law. We will never use your information for anything other than to contact you, fulfill your order, and ship it to you.
We retain the right to post your commission and payment status on Trello.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
You may not deconstruct or replicate our heads or other parts. Glitchy Weasel Works currently uses head bases, eye blanks, parts, patterns, and materials created and sold by other artists. We ask that you refrain from deconstructing or replicating our work to also protect the artists and creators that we choose to support and have made our business possible. Credit for all materials not made by GWW will be listed here!
